What this format is for

The Sprint Plus is designed for organizations where a decision needs to become effective not only in one team, but across multiple departments.

It extends the Implementation Sprint with additional interviews, broader alignment and a more intensive review logic.

When this format makes sense

The Sprint Plus makes sense when several teams or leadership levels are affected.

Typical situations:

• several departments need to use the same decision logic
• Customer Value or GTM needs to be rolled out more broadly
• execution affects Sales, Marketing, Delivery or Operations at the same time
• additional interviews or review sessions are needed
• the organization is larger or more complex

What is clarified

The Sprint Plus clarifies:

• how the decision is implemented across several departments
• which additional perspectives need to be considered
• which alignments are necessary
• which meetings or reviews need to change
• how the new logic is carried more broadly

Which frameworks are used

The Sprint Plus mainly uses the HAUFFE Operating Loop.

Depending on the decision, the Decision Friction Map, Customer Value Matrix, Go-to-Market Logic Map or Sales Decision Clarity Map can also be used.

What exists at the end

At the end, it becomes clearer:

• how the decision is implemented across several departments
• which responsibilities exist
• which additional interviews or reviews were relevant
• which rhythm applies for execution and adjustment
• how the decision logic is embedded more broadly in the company

Who it fits

The Sprint Plus fits larger or more complex organizations, multiple departments or leadership teams with higher alignment needs.

Who it does not fit

The Sprint Plus does not fit if only a clearly bounded decision in a small team needs to be implemented. In that case, the Implementation Sprint is usually enough.
